Wonderful food, courteous server, reasonable prices. Gingerbread cupcake was heaven.

New Name New OwnerLast year I stopped here and the entire experience was disgusting. Coming through this time I seen fresh paint so decided to stop. The new owner bakes fresh bread and buns for all meals. The chicken fried steak is back to hand made not frozen and is out of this world. This is the place you are looking for. Large portions of home cooked food.

We stopped in here for breakfast. The food was really good. The biscuits are amazing (I avoid restaurant biscuits normally as they usually aren't that good). The toast is super as it's made from house made bread? It wasn't super fast, but it takes longer to be better. Worth the wait. Next time I want to try a cinnamon roll.

Nice home town dinner as others have commented. Don't be fooled by how it looks on the outside. Great food at great prices! My wife and I could have split either of our meals and had enough to eat! She got the chicken fried steak and I got the three chicken tenders. Each comes with soup or salad, choice of potatoes, optional vegetable at no charge and a simple petite dessert for $11.99. I don't see how anyone could call that expensive! All the waitresses were friendly and efficient. We went back the following morning for breakfast and that was good too.

Came in to have breakfast but nobody came out to seat us. Waited. Waited. Waited. Left.

Homemade deliciousness. The only restaurant we have eaten at in 10 days of holdiays that had real butter and real cream for our morning keto coffee. Family run and good food.The restaurant could use some attention. The seats were torn etc, but the food was delicious and plentiful.

Great breakfast place! Generous portions for the price. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, even though she was the only one there and it was unusually busy for a Wednesday morning.

I've had a better steak. Way to thin for new York. Still tasted good but was way too narrow.

This place was great!... Brother and i stopped through on a trip and really enjoyed the food and Debi the owner was a hoot.. If you like good food and friendly atmosphere/service do yourself a favor and stop by.

Passing through Ely, NV. Came across a small diner for Breakfast. Food was amazing! Great Homemade style breakfast. Service was friendly. Definitely recommend eating here. Cinnamon rolls are ridiculous! 👍

The very best breakfast! Homemade Bread and biscuits. Flavored coffee creamer and big portions. Recommend the biscuits and gravy with eggs and hash browns.

The food is excellent and the portions are generous. They make their bread fresh there, so you will always have a fresh bun for the burgers. They cook their own fresh cut French fries that are excellent, no frozen fries!!! I look forward to trying all of their menu items! Also every time I have been there the service has been excellent and the servers have been professional and polite. The owner even made it a point to introduce herself and made sure we were receiving high quality service from her staff. Plus the restaurant was very clean. Overall a great place to eat!

Excellent breakfast! I've been on the road for three weeks and this is the best breakfast I've had. The Nardi's plate with loaded hash browns (like the"scattered smothered and covered" at Waffle House but better) and a home made biscuit and I was ready for the day. Highly recommended

Excellent stop for breakfast. For all those who complain about service, try being a little nicer to small town folk when you enter their restaurants and you may find the service is quite exceptional. This isn't a franchise or corporate owned store so they are not going to bow down to you when you walk through the door.

The server was super accommodating to our dietary needs. She jumped at the opportunity to make us something that wasn't on the menu and adjust the price. Very friendly. I felt like a local.

Not often I get surprised at one of these mom and pop places. Broke down in Ely and was just looking for a quick bite to eat. Not the usual microwave quicky food. Everything was home made , and the portion sizes are insane! The service was amazing. Our coffee cups stayed full.

Best breakfast, definitely worth the wait... it was rodeo weekend and busy. Had our for in 20 minutes. Boy was it delicious! Will go back when we pass thru again...lunch me u look good too. Bomber cinnamon rolls, worth the stop.

Impressive cinnamon rolls. big as your head. loved the homemade bread for the sandwiches. I had Applewood smoked bacon and blackberry jelly on sourdough bread was delish. great guys, great service and very cop friendly!

Great food, generous portions, friendly service, and fair pricing. Ham steak was tender and juicy. Hashbrowns are well seasoned and REAL potato. Pancakes and biscuits/gravy were also top notch. Would visit again.

Service was really bad. Had to ask three times just to get a menu. People who came in after me got served before me. Long wait for food even though they weren't that busy. Employees spent more time talking to each other than waiting on customers. When food arrived it was not that good. Would not recommend spending your money here.

The best place to eat between Reno and Vegas. If you're in Ely or traveling anywhere near then you owe it to yourself to get here. Generous portions and homemade bread on all of the meals. Extremely delicious fresh homemade meals. You can taste the love that goes into every meal. The staff was so friendly and helpful.

I would give 0 stars. Thos place is now called Nardi's. Ordered coffee and water then breakfast meals. Over half hour and no water. When the waitress came to our table she asked what we ordered. She stated that she will bring us menus, they ran out of pancake mix and they are just going to have to make us something else. 4.25 for 2 cups of coffee and time we cant get back.

Service was slow, BBQ bacon burger was good but way too much sauce, it ran out everywhere. Curly fries were greasy, limp, and not cooked completely. Bread on the grilled cheese was way too thick. Menu states that the grilled cheese is loaded with cheese. One slice is not loaded. The only waitress when we got there was friendly but overwhelmed with sit down patrons, take out orders and cashier duties.

Not fast at all. Wife ordered a rib eye... they were out did not say anything. Tried giving her a top sirloin. Not good.

Awesome place! We came in on a slow day for them, so everyone was a bit slow to get moving when we put in our order. Other than that, the food and service was great! The sourdough bread is fantastic, would recommend.

Was a excellent place to eat. Debbie one of the cooks is a special lady. Everyone was so nice. Will definitely go back when in area.

They are really proud of their 3-4 inch thick bread.
